Setting up your email account in a mail client

This article applies to domain-based email on our current hosting platform. (Not sure which platform you're on? Start here.)

To access your domain-based email using the mail client of your choice (Gmail, Outlook, Mail, etc.), follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings → Accounts → Add a mail account

2. Enter the following details:

username: [your email address]
password: [this was sent to you in a secure one-time link]
POP Server: domain-com.aghosted.com (with port 995)

3. Be sure to check "Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail.”

4. Set up the SMTP or outgoing server using the same details from above, but leave the default port.
