Agathon servers include a standard firewall that blocks a lot of the nefarious traffic your site might experience.
In addition, we recommend a couple very simple lightweight plugins that will mitigate many common attacks:

- Stop XML-RPC Attacks (read more here)
Beyond that, making sure all of your plugins, themes and WordPress core are up to date and that all of your admin accounts use strong passwords. You can have big expensive security solutions, but none of them can stop a hacker from simply guessing a bad or simple password.
Finally, if you do notice a lot of suspicious traffic, we have the ability to block large groups of IP addresses as needed.
